Lego

I love Lego.
It keeps the kids busy.
It sparks they're imagination.
It brings them together.

I hate picking up Lego!
Accidently stepping on it kills!
I get annoyed at bending down to pick it up.
I know some moms who don't allow Lego in their house for this reason.

But every time I sigh with frustration at the countless lone Legos I find around our home... I know one day I'll miss Lego.

I'll miss Lego.
Because one day they'll grow out of it.
One day they'll stop dumping the Lego box.
One day they'll stop showing me their creations.

I love Lego.
It signifies their youth.
It signifies their innocence.
I love Lego.

[Yes.... I just attempted to write something that resembles a poem, on Lego. It's late, I should sleep =) ]

'SuperStrike'

The boys love making Lego n sometimes they make some really cool things. I told them I'd start taking pics of what they make to post them on the blog so they can look back at it.

Grandparents are one of the best inventions.

Though living abroad has had its difficult moments.... It's times like this but I can't help but smile.
Alhamdulilah for having amazing grandparents for my kids.

Toilet Training.

Sibling Love <3

On the move again!

It's official. We have decided to move back to Canada. It's been an incredibly amazing time... but, it's time to go home.

We feel like it's been an extended vacation... We've made priceless memories that we will cherish for life time.... But, it's time to wrap up.

We've informed the kids this week... And there are mixed feelings, so to help them work through these feelings I asked them to write all the things they like about both Malaysia and Canada.

Inshallah we still have more than two months left. So hopefully we can focus on enjoying what we have left here and then be on our way back. <3

Ibby's Lego Class # 5

Ibby made a T-Rex.

Random Baba Experiment

Baba came home one day wanting to do this. Milk + food colouring + dish soap = excitement!
Plus things are always a little extra exciting when Baba is around.

A brother, a sister and a turtle.

Moving colors!

As an extension of the colored flower experiment, we did this paper towel experiment. It was pretty cool Mashallah n kids really enjoyed it... Okay I'll admit I did too! :)

Colored Flower Science

We did this experiment with some of our friends. However because of guests and being busy we didn't get to fill in the observations as much as I had hoped, but it was interesting nonetheless.
